MAISON D'JWEZON WELLNESS RESORT

The MAISON D’ JWEZON project is an eco-touristic development with sustainability at its core. Miason D’ Jwezon (the healing house) is one that was born out of a need to dovetail wellness and joy ( killing two birds with one stone, so to speak) a needed synergy that enables people to exercise, mud bath, leaf bath, etc, experiencing a host of other homeopathic combined with standard  traditional medical practices, while vacationing and having fun. 

This project is conceived and designed in (3) three phases. 36 acres of slope land bounded to the north by a ¾ mile white sanded beach over looking the Caribbean sea, is the location designated for this venture. The attached valley land below is a breathtaking, green, luscious banana field. 7 acres of this magnificent site was purchased in March 2006, thus ensuring a constant supply of bananas that will be used by the facility. 3 acres will be diverted to be used for growing our own ground- provisions, fruits and legumes – we are going strictly organic. 

A private long white sandy beach will facilitate our clients with a wide range of aquatic activities, such as jet skiing, scuba diving, yachting, etc.  The annual St. Lucia Music Jazz Festival held in May will also be held in that area.

The project as mention will be done in three phases.

1)      First phase:

The most challenging of the phases; roads will be built, water and electricity will be put in place and the sewer system will be ready.

     Buildings:

A)    Bar/ restaurant- a delight

B)     Reception and management building

C)    Maintenance building

D)    20 cottages/small houses built in the Creole vernacular

       E)  Swimming pool  

2)      Second phase:

   A)  39 more cottages

B)  Wellness center with doctor’s examination room, 13 treatment rooms (holistically oriented) with hydro pooling in the center of the building. 

C)  Pyramid spa building, among other uses – international writer’s workshop, music festivals (Sacred, Creole, African drums, etc.) and a literary discourse center.

D) Campsites – ‘15x15’   concrete floors interspersed among the palm trees to be rented for campers.

E)  Boutique building – lots of emphasis will be placed on this spot, as we have tapped many Caribbean designers to manufacture, display and sell there wares.

3)  Third phase:

Condominiums – 13 will be built, each with 3 apartments (flat). These will be built right above the ocean, targeting – health loving conscious people wishing to make this their home or vacation spot. The apartments will be pre-sold.
